
HR Operations Generalist
At Marsh & McLennan Companies, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated HR Operations Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and organized professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.To be successful in this role, you should have a thorough understanding of HR procedures and regulations, including labor law, benefit administration, and employee relations. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The HR Operations Generalist will join a team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing the recruitment process, and providing general HR support.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field• At least 3 years of experience in an HR Operations role• Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures• Solid knowledge of labor laws and employee relations• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentIf you are passionate about HR operations and have the required qualifications, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities of an HR Operations Generalist:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with labor laws and employee relations.
- Manage the recruitment process, including screening of job applicants, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Provide general HR support to employees, including answering questions, resolving disputes, and offering guidance and advice.
- Monitor and update employee files and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- Coordinate performance reviews and other HR activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions.
- Monitor and maintain HR budgets and expenses.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in HR policies, laws, and regulations.
