Job Description

Marsh & McLennan Companies is looking for an experienced and motivated Executive Benefits Sales Consultant to join our team and provide exceptional service to our clients. We seek a creative and organized individual who is passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of corporate benefits packages. If you have a knack for problem solving and an interest in developing relationships with clients, this is the perfect position for you. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the benefits sales/consulting industry, including knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of employee benefits and retirement plans. This individual should have a strong background in sales and possess the ability to understand clients’ needs while delivering tailored solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. We are looking for someone who is self-disciplined and able to work independently, yet also collaborate with others to ensure the highest quality of service. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to their corporate benefits packages.
  2. Utilize problem-solving skills to create creative solutions to meet clients’ needs.
  3. Work independently and collaboratively with others to ensure the highest quality of service.
  4. Actively pursue new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and making professional presentations.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients to ensure their satisfaction.
  6. Utilize knowledge of principles, techniques, and practices of employee benefits and retirement plans to provide the best solutions.
  7. Negotiate contracts and resolve any disputes efficiently.
  8. Remain up-to-date on the latest trends in the benefits sales/consulting industry.
