Job Description

At Marsh & McLennan Companies, we are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our Catastrophe Risk Management team as an Associate. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and gain exposure to the entire catastrophe risk process.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the field of catastrophe risk management. You will also need a strong understanding of the insurance claims process and a good working knowledge of established risk management techniques.In this role, you will be responsible for providing analytical support and advice to clients in the area of catastrophe risk management. You will need to be able to provide accurate and timely advice to clients about their risk exposures and be able to develop innovative solutions to help them reduce their risk.If you have the drive and ambition to succeed in this role, and the required qualifications to back it up, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative solutions to help clients reduce their risk exposures.
  2. Provide analytical support and advice to clients in the area of catastrophe risk management.
  3. Evaluate risk exposures and provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
  4. Develop and implement risk management techniques and strategies.
  5. Monitor and analyze changes in the insurance industry and recommend solutions to clients accordingly.
  6. Assist clients in the claims process and provide guidance on the best course of action.
  7. Liaise with external stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations to clients and internal teams.
  9. Stay updated on new risk management techniques and trends.
  10. Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the team.
