Staff Accountant

Marriott International is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This individual should have a passion for financial process improvement and an aptitude for problem-solving. We’re looking for a team player who will be able to collaborate with other departments and take initiative on new projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and be able to work independently.The successful Staff Accountant will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, plus at least two years of related professional experience. Other essential requirements include strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent experience with financial software systems. We’re looking for someone who is able to take on a variety of tasks, from completing bank reconciliations, to preparing financial statements, to tracking investments.
