  1. Develop and implement food safety and quality standards for all products.
  2. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards and ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
  3. Lead and manage a team of food technologists, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and improvement, from concept to launch.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify new ingredients, technologies, and processes to enhance product quality and safety.
  6. Oversee and manage product testing and validation processes to ensure product safety and quality.
  7. Identify areas for improvement in existing products and processes and develop solutions to address any issues.
  8. Monitor and analyze consumer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure quality and consistency of raw materials and ingredients.
  10. Train and educate team members on food science principles and best practices to ensure a high level of expertise within the team.
  11. Participate in product audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure accurate and compliant labeling and packaging of products.
  13. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on product development, quality, and safety.
  14. Develop and manage budgets for the food technology department and ensure cost-effective operations.
  15. Stay informed of emerging technologies and advancements in food science and make recommendations for their implementation in the company's processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Food Science, Food Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Food Technology Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Consumer Goods Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations And Industry Standards.

  • Experience In Developing And Launching New Food Products, From Concept To Commercialization.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
