- Develop and implement effective strategies for product range planning and visual merchandising, in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and store operations, to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify current trends and customer preferences, and use this information to inform product range and display decisions.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to track the performance of product ranges and displays, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the buying team to ensure that the product range meets customer needs and aligns with the company's brand image.
- Plan and execute seasonal product launches and promotions, ensuring timely and effective implementation in stores.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Ensure that all visual displays are visually appealing, well-organized, and in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of product ranges and displays, and provide feedback and recommendations to store managers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retail merchandising, and use this knowledge to continuously improve and innovate the company's approach to range and display planning.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion within budget.
- Train and mentor junior members of the merchandising team, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and contribute to the company's success.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, to provide regular updates on range and display planning activities and results.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise in the planning and execution of product ranges and displays, using problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
- Uphold the company's values and brand standards, and act as a brand ambassador both within and outside of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Merchandising, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Merchandising, Preferably In A Range And Display Planning Role.
Strong Analytical Skills And Experience With Data Analysis And Forecasting.
Knowledge Of Retail Trends, Customer Behavior, And Market Dynamics.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Buying, Marketing, And Store Operations Teams.
