- Receive and process all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect, clean, and decontaminate instruments using proper techniques and equipment.
- Assemble and package instruments and equipment for sterilization using appropriate methods.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes, including maintaining accurate records of load contents and test results.
- Collaborate with surgical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and alert management of any shortages or expired items.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Completion Of An Accredited Sterile Processing Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.
Certification As A Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Sterile Processing Or Surgical Instrument Sterilization.
Knowledge Of Infection Control And Sterilization Guidelines And Procedures.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
