  1. Receive and process all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols and guidelines.
  2. Inspect, clean, and decontaminate instruments using proper techniques and equipment.
  3. Assemble and package instruments and equipment for sterilization using appropriate methods.
  4. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
  5. Monitor and document sterilization processes, including maintaining accurate records of load contents and test results.
  6. Collaborate with surgical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies and equipment.
  7. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.
  9. Maintain inventory of supplies and alert management of any shortages or expired items.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  11. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with team members and promoting a culture of teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Sterile Processing Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.

  • Certification As A Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Equivalent.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Sterile Processing Or Surgical Instrument Sterilization.

  • Knowledge Of Infection Control And Sterilization Guidelines And Procedures.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
