  1. Design and implement individualized education plans for students with disabilities.
  2. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to meet the unique needs of students with special needs.
  3. Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education plan for each student.
  4. Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  7. Attend and participate in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  8. Stay current on best practices and developments in the field of special education.
  9. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth for all students.
  10. Advocate for the needs of students with special needs and collaborate with community resources to provide additional support.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines related to special education.
  12. Serve as a positive role model for students and colleagues, demonstrating a passion for helping students with special needs reach their full potential.
  13. Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding within the school community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Special Education Or A Related Field.

  • State Teaching Certification In Special Education.

  • Experience Working With Students With Special Needs, Including Knowledge Of Various Disabilities And Individualized Education Plans (Ieps).

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Students, Parents, And Other Education Professionals.

  • Understanding Of And Commitment To The Principles Of Inclusive Education And Creating A Supportive And Inclusive Learning Environment For All Students.
