- Develop and implement strategies for planning and executing social events for Mainehealth, including but not limited to employee appreciation events, community outreach events, and fundraising events.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to determine event goals, objectives, and budget.
- Source and secure event venues, vendors, and entertainment within budget constraints.
- Create and manage event timelines, schedules, and logistical details to ensure successful and timely execution of events.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and increase attendance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to enhance event partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Oversee event registration, ticket sales, and RSVPs, and manage event budgets and financial transactions.
- Coordinate event set-up and breakdown, including decorations, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
- Serve as the main point of contact for event attendees, vendors, and sponsors, addressing any questions or concerns before, during, and after events.
- Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for improvement for future events.
- Stay up-to-date on event planning industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the overall event experience.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Mainehealth at events and in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure events are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall positive team culture at Mainehealth.
- Continuously strive to enhance the reputation of Mainehealth through exceptional event planning and execution.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Event Coordination Or Related Role.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail.
Knowledge Of Event Planning Software And Tools, Such As Cvent Or Eventbrite.
