  1. Perform interventional radiology procedures in a safe and accurate manner.
  2. Utilize advanced technical skills to operate specialized equipment and imaging technology.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient needs are met.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in interventional radiology.
  8. Train and mentor junior technologists in interventional radiology procedures.
  9. Communicate with patients and their families to explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
  10. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering necessary supplies for interventional radiology procedures.
  11. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  13. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  14. Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  17. Participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.
  18. Adhere to professional standards and code of ethics.
  19. Assist with the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures.
  20. Act as a leader and role model for other technologists in the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Interventional Radiography.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Interventional Radiology Technologist Is Required, With A Demonstrated Proficiency In Complex Procedures Such As Angioplasty, Embolization, And Stent Placement.

  • Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Lead A Team Of Technologists, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals In The Interventional Radiology Department.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-Depth Knowledge Of Interventional Radiology Procedures, Equipment, And Protocols Is Necessary To Ensure Accurate And Safe Delivery Of Patient Care.

  • Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Interact Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
