If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Rehabilitation Aide at Mainehealth. Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch care and support to our patients, and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us. As a Rehabilitation Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting our patients with their rehabilitation process, promoting independence and improving their quality of life.   1. Assist patients with their rehabilitation process, including assisting with exercises and activities as directed by the rehabilitation team.
  2. Monitor and report on patient progress and any changes in condition to the rehabilitation team.
  3. Help patients with daily tasks, such as dressing, grooming, and bathing, as needed.
  4. Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following all infection control and safety protocols.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the rehabilitation team to ensure the best possible care and support.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  9. Assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments and transportation for patients.
  10. Attend trainings and educational opportunities to stay current on best practices and techniques in rehabilitation.
  11. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Mainehealth and the rehabilitation department.
  12. Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, making them feel comfortable and supported during their recovery journey.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the patient experience and outcomes.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the rehabilitation team or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of A Recognized Rehabilitation Aide Training Program

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Rehabilitation Or Physical Therapy

  • Ability To Lift And Move Patients With Physical Limitations And Assist With Exercises And Therapy Activities
