- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with mental health conditions.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate care for patients.
- Prescribe and monitor medication for patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and physicians, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of psychiatry, implementing new techniques and approaches as appropriate.
- Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and patience in all interactions with patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of care.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other activities to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and addressed in a timely manner.

Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Valid Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant License In The State Of Maine.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Psychiatric Inpatient Setting.
Master's Degree In Psychiatric Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies.
Board Certification As A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant.
