  1. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and medical conditions.
  2. Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients with a variety of health concerns, including but not limited to diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
  3. Stay up-to-date with current nutrition research and guidelines, and incorporate this knowledge into patient care.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition, including meal planning, portion control, and food selection.
  6. Monitor and track patients' progress and make any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient visits and progress.
  8. Participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay informed on company policies and procedures.
  9. Act as a resource for colleagues and provide guidance and support as needed.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to nutrition and healthcare.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times and represent the company in a positive manner to patients and the community.
  15. Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy laws at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification By The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Medical Nutrition Therapy, Preferably In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Medical Conditions And Their Nutritional Implications, As Well As The Ability To Develop Comprehensive Nutrition Plans For Patients.

  • Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
