If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Premium Dietitian at Mainehealth.In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, providing specialized nutrition counseling and education to those with complex medical conditions. Your expertise in medical nutrition therapy will be crucial in developing personalized nutrition plans and promoting positive lifestyle changes.To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field, as well as be a Registered Dietitian with at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.   • Provide specialized nutrition counseling and education to patients with complex medical conditions
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care for patients
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in medical nutrition therapy
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and create appropriate treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and lifestyle changes to promote optimal health
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Serve as a resource for patients and healthcare team members regarding nutrition-related questions and concerns
  • Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and provide recommendations
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the field of nutrition and healthcare
  • Continuously evaluate and improve upon nutrition services and programs offered by the organization
  • Act as a role model for healthy eating habits and promote a positive and supportive environment for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Medical Nutrition Therapy, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Nutrition Principles And Ability To Develop Personalized Nutrition Plans Based On Individual Patient Needs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Educate Patients On Nutrition And Lifestyle Changes.
