  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sports Surgery department.
  2. Ensure high-quality patient care is being provided by the medical team.
  3. Provide guidance, support, and training to the medical professionals in the department.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Monitor and manage the department's budget and resources.
  6. Collaborate with other departments within Mainehealth to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.

  13. Represent the department and Mainehealth in meetings and conferences.

  15. Maintain accurate and organized records of department activities and operations.
  16. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures for maximum efficiency.
  17. Coordinate and oversee staff schedules and assignments.
  18. Collaborate with other Practice Supervisors to share best practices and improve overall performance.
  19. Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and dedication to patient care.
  20. Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Sports Surgery Or A Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Surgical Techniques And Procedures.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Active And Current Licensure As A Registered Nurse Or Healthcare Professional In The State Of Maine.

  • Prior Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role, Preferably In A Surgical Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Mentor A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
