- Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients' foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions
- Diagnose and treat a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including injuries, infections, and deformities
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and medical history
- Perform surgical procedures on the foot, ankle, and lower leg, as needed
- Prescribe and manage medications and other forms of treatment for patients
- Educate patients on proper foot care and preventative measures to maintain overall foot health
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
- Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of podiatry

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in healthcare practice.
Medical Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Podiatric Medicine (Dpm) Degree From An Accredited Medical School Is Required For This Position.
Board Certification: Candidates Must Hold Current Board Certification From The American Board Of Podiatric Medicine Or The American Board Of Foot And Ankle Surgery.
State License: Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice Podiatry In The State Of Maine.
Residency Training: Completion Of An Accredited Residency Program In Podiatry Is Required, With A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience.
Specialized Skills: Strong Diagnostic And Treatment Skills In Podiatric Medicine, As Well As Expertise In Surgical Techniques, Wound Care, And Diabetic Foot Care Are Necessary For This Role.
