  1. Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Conduct thorough and accurate evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families, ensuring open and effective communication.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to provide comprehensive care.

  11. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  12. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve the overall quality of care.
  13. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  15. Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals, including nurses and medical assistants.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree And Residency Training: A Physician - Pediatrician At Mainehealth Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And Have Completed A Residency Training In Pediatrics.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Pediatrics By The American Board Of Pediatrics Or Equivalent Board Certification.

  • State License: The Candidate Should Hold A Current And Valid License To Practice Medicine In The State Of Maine.

  • Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience In Pediatrics Is Preferred For This Position.

  • Interpersonal And Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Build Rapport With Patients And Their Families Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals.
