Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Physician Specializing In Oncology Must Have Completed Medical School And Received A Doctor Of Medicine (M.d.) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (D.o.) Degree.

  • Board Certification: Candidates For This Position Must Be Board Certified In Medical Oncology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Board Of Osteopathic Internal Medicine (Aboim).

  • State Licensure: All Physicians Practicing In The State Of Maine Must Hold A Valid License From The Maine Board Of Licensure In Medicine.

  • Experience In Oncology: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Practicing As A Medical Oncologist, With A Strong Knowledge Of Cancer Treatment Protocols And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Candidates Should Also Have The Ability To Deliver Complex Medical Information In An Understandable Manner.
