Job Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree In Physician Assistant Studies: Candidates For This Role Should Have Completed A Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Valid State Licensure: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid State License To Practice As A Physician Assistant In Maine, Or Be Eligible For Licensure.

  • Previous Experience In Women's Health: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Women's Health Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Physician Assistant In Women's Health, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport And Providing Quality Care.

  • Knowledge Of Women's Health Issues And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Women's Health Issues, Including Gynecological And Obstetrical Care, As Well As Experience In Performing Procedures Such As Pelvic Exams, Pap Smears, And Breast Exams. Additional Certifications In Women's Health, Such As Nccpa's Women's Health Certified Physician Assistant (Whc-Pa) Credential, May Also Be Preferred.
