- Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced trauma surgery setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurately document findings
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the supervising physician
- Monitor and respond to changes in a patient's condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills in high-stress situations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
- Stay updated on current medical practices and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards
- Participate in ongoing education and training to advance clinical skills and knowledge
- Provide support and guidance to junior medical staff, as needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively at all times.
Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant Or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Maine.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies Or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Trauma Surgery Setting, Preferably In A Night Float Role.
Strong Clinical Skills And Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
