  • Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced trauma surgery setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurately document findings
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the supervising physician
  • Monitor and respond to changes in a patient's condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills in high-stress situations
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
  • Stay updated on current medical practices and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to advance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Provide support and guidance to junior medical staff, as needed

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant Or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Maine.

  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies Or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Trauma Surgery Setting, Preferably In A Night Float Role.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
