  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Mainehealth facilities with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately and efficiently.
  3. Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  4. Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and obtaining required documentation.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  7. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patients receive appropriate care and treatment.
  8. Monitor and maintain patient records, including insurance and billing information.
  9. Collect and process patient payments and insurance information accurately.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  11. Work closely with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  12. Keep abreast of changes in healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing patient files.
  14. Attend training and meetings to stay updated on new procedures and protocols.
  15. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
