  1. Greet and welcome patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for patients, answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patients' needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Accurately collect and verify patient information, including insurance and personal details.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  6. Assist with insurance verification and processing of insurance claims.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  8. Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients, including follow-up appointments and referrals.
  9. Communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibilities and assist with payment arrangements as needed.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  11. Continuously update and maintain patient records and information.
  12. Provide information and resources to patients regarding services, programs, and resources offered by Mainehealth.
  13. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any issues.
  14. Attend trainings and stay updated on industry changes and developments.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent patient care and upholding Mainehealth's values and mission.
