- Oversee all aspects of the patient registration and admission process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate a team of patient access staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline patient access processes and improve overall patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of patient information and timely processing of admissions.
- Monitor and analyze patient access data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve any issues related to access and billing.
- Manage patient financial counseling and assistance programs to ensure patients are informed about their financial responsibilities and receive appropriate assistance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines.
- Communicate with patients and their families to address any concerns or questions and provide necessary support and assistance.
- Continuously strive to improve the patient experience by seeking out feedback and implementing changes as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Such As Hipaa And Cms Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Interact With Patients.
Proficiency In Electronic Health Records (Ehr) Systems And Other Relevant Technology.
