  1. Oversee all aspects of patient access, including registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling processes.
  2. Ensure efficient and accurate patient registration and data entry.
  3. Monitor and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance policies.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient access and streamline processes.
  5. Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality and efficient patient care.
  6. Manage patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  8. Analyze data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of changes in healthcare policies and regulations.
  10. Lead and participate in meetings and committees related to patient access.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  12. Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing and insurance issues.
  13. Monitor and manage patient satisfaction and work to continuously improve the patient experience.
  14. Handle and resolve any escalated patient access issues.
  15. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate insurance verification and authorization.
  16. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  17. Conduct performance evaluations for staff and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  18. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections.
  19. Create and maintain departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  20. Represent the organization in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, With At Least 3 Years In A Patient Access Or Revenue Cycle Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Including Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Patient Access Staff.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Departments And Healthcare Providers.
