Medication Safety Officer

At Mainehealth, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medication Safety Officer to join our team. This role is critical in helping to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and standards related to medication safety. The successful candidate will be a leader in promoting and maintaining a safe medication environment for our patients.We are looking for someone with a strong background in medication safety, risk management and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare setting working directly with medication safety and risk management. A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field is required.We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, who is able to work independently and collaboratively with other departments. The Medication Safety Officer will be a leader in promoting a culture of safety and quality within our organization.
