1. Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing a positive first impression of Mainehealth.
2. Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients by performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient flow.
5. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans and instructions.
6. Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including stocking exam rooms, maintaining equipment, and following infection control protocols.
7. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as Mainehealth policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
8. Act as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or questions they may have and providing support and assistance as needed.
