  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine department.
  2. Utilize knowledge and expertise in infectious disease and internal medicine to assist in patient care.
  3. Work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive patient experience.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and assist with medical charting.
  6. Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
  7. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
  8. Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  9. Provide support to physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and education opportunities.
  11. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Display professionalism and compassion while interacting with patients and their families.
  13. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  15. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Medical Assistant: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification From A Recognized Institution As A Medical Assistant.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Similar Setting, Preferably In Infectious Disease And Internal Medicine, Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Infectious Disease And Internal Medicine Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Protocols And Procedures Commonly Used In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Infectious Diseases And Internal Medicine Conditions.

  • Familiarity With Emr Systems: Experience With Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems Is Necessary For Efficient And Accurate Documentation Of Patient Information And Treatment Plans.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: As A Medical Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Both Patients And Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Patient Rapport And Collaborating With The Healthcare Team.
