- Perform mammography procedures on patients in a safe and efficient manner, following all established protocols and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions.
- Provide compassionate and professional care to patients, putting them at ease and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Accurately document and maintain patient records and images, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze mammography images, providing accurate and timely results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in mammography, attending trainings and conferences as required.
- Educate patients on the importance of regular mammograms and promote early detection of breast cancer.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and equipment is properly maintained.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, following proper radiation safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all procedures.
- Act as a mentor to less experienced technologists, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, working effectively with team members and other departments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards at all times.
Certification As A Registered Radiologic Technologist (Arrt) In Mammography.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Mammography Imaging.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Mammography Equipment And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients And Medical Staff.
Demonstrated Ability To Maintain Accurate And Detailed Patient Records, And Adhere To All Quality And Safety Standards In Mammography Imaging.
