We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk Copy Operator to join our team. This role will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our mailroom and copy center.   1. Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently.
  2. Operate and maintain mailroom and copy center equipment, including printers, copiers, and postage meters.
  3. Ensure all mail and packages are properly labeled and delivered to the correct recipient.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of office supplies and order new supplies as needed.
  5. Handle confidential and sensitive documents with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  6. Assist with the preparation and distribution of mass mailings, such as hospital newsletters and employee communications.
  7. Process outgoing mail, including postage and shipping labels.
  8. Maintain neat and organized work areas in the mailroom and copy center.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with mailroom and copy center equipment.
  10. Communicate with other departments and staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages.
  11. Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of mailroom and copy center equipment.
  12. Keep accurate records of mailroom and copy center activities, such as incoming and outgoing mail volumes.
  13. Proactively identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the mailroom and copy center.
  14. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
  15. Adhere to all safety and security protocols in handling mail and packages.
  16. Uphold the values and mission of Mainehealth by providing exceptional customer service to all staff and patients.
  17. Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on mailroom and copy center policies and procedures.
  18. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the mailroom and copy center.
