Certification: A Lead Phlebotomist At Mainehealth Must Have A Valid Phlebotomy Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist, With A Demonstrated Track Record Of Success In A Leadership Role.
Knowledge Of Regulations: The Lead Phlebotomist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Phlebotomy, Including Osha Guidelines, Clia Standards, And Hipaa Regulations.
