IS Security Engineer - Privacy & Security

Mainehealth is looking for an experienced IS Security Engineer - Privacy & Security to join our team and help protect our data, systems, and patients. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to utilize your technical expertise to enhance the security of our network and infrastructure. We are looking for an individual who can bring a combination of security knowledge, technical experience, and a customer-oriented approach to their role.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background and experience in the security field. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about protecting data and systems. In addition to the technical qualifications, excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field• 5+ years of experience in information security and/or IT• In-depth knowledge of security systems and protocols• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001• Understanding of encryption technologies• Proven experience with security risk assessments• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
