  1. Maintain and repair all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within Mainehealth facilities.
  2. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and implement appropriate solutions.
  4. Install new HVAC equipment and make necessary upgrades or modifications to existing systems.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing HVAC duties.
  6. Keep accurate records of all HVAC maintenance and repair work performed.
  7. Work closely with other departments and teams to ensure minimal disruption to healthcare services during HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of HVAC equipment and supplies.
  9. Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians as needed.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and recommend ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HVAC systems.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology.
  12. Respond promptly to emergency HVAC repair requests.
  13. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to provide updates on HVAC maintenance and repair work.
  14. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Experience: A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In The Hvac Field, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Demonstrating Knowledge And Proficiency In Troubleshooting, Repairing And Maintaining Hvac Systems.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Blueprints, Schematics And Technical Manuals. Knowledge Of Hvac Systems, Including Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation, And Control Systems. Experience With Various Tools And Equipment Used In Hvac Maintenance And Repair.

  • Certifications/Licenses: Possession Of A Valid Hvac License And Any Relevant Certifications Such As Epa Section 608 Certification. Knowledge Of Safety And Building Codes Related To Hvac Systems.

  • Attention To Detail: Ability To Identify And Diagnose Problems With Hvac Systems, And To Perform Accurate Repairs And Maintenance. Attention To Detail Is Essential To Ensure Proper Functioning And Safety Of The Systems.

  • Teamwork And Communication: Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Communicate Clearly With Team Members And Other Departments. Good Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Follow Written And Verbal Instructions Are Essential.
