As an Emergency Department Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients in our fast-paced and dynamic emergency department.   1. Provide exceptional care to patients in the emergency department, especially in the Maternity and Child Health (MCH) department.
  2. Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients according to established protocols.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer basic medical treatments and procedures under the direction of a physician or nurse.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and equipment.
  6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  7. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  8. Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult and stressful situations.
  9. Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  11. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  12. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and adapt to changing priorities.
  13. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  15. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team or department supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.

  • Completion Of A Certified Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Program.

  • Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Department Or Similar Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Emergency Medical Procedures, Equipment, And Protocols.
