
Emergency Department Technician - MCH

- Provide exceptional care to patients in the emergency department, especially in the Maternity and Child Health (MCH) department.
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer basic medical treatments and procedures under the direction of a physician or nurse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult and stressful situations.
- Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and adapt to changing priorities.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team or department supervisor.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
Completion Of A Certified Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Program.
Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Department Or Similar Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Emergency Medical Procedures, Equipment, And Protocols.
