- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and state regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and identify potential hazards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to coordinate repairs and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other staff to coordinate work and provide updates on progress.
- Monitor and document maintenance and repair tasks to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical systems and apply this knowledge to improve efficiency and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by responding promptly and professionally to any electrical concerns or emergencies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical systems and related technology.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as needed to complete projects and address complex issues.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions and represent Mainehealth in a positive manner at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For The Electrician Position At Mainehealth.
Journeyman Electrician License: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Journeyman Electrician License As Issued By The State Of Maine Or Another State With Reciprocity.
Minimum 2 Years Of Experience: Mainehealth Requires Candidates To Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Electrician In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting.
Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Local, State, And National Electrical Codes And Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Safety On Job Sites.
Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: Electricians At Mainehealth Need To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Excellent Problem-Solving Abilities To Troubleshoot And Resolve Electrical Issues Efficiently.
