  • Develop and oversee educational programs and initiatives for nursing staff within Mainehealth, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create educational content and materials.
  • Conduct regular needs assessments and evaluations to determine the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
  • Plan and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for nursing staff, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Utilize various instructional methods and techniques to engage and educate nursing staff, such as presentations, hands-on activities, and e-learning.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the healthcare industry and incorporate them into educational programs.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Monitor and track the progress and performance of nursing staff in educational programs, providing feedback and addressing any areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to enhance educational opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Create and maintain documentation and records related to educational programs and staff development.
  • Communicate regularly with nursing staff, leadership, and other stakeholders to promote and advocate for educational opportunities and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement in the field of nursing education.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Active And Unrestricted Nursing License In The State Of Maine

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Nursing Education

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With Experience In Program Development And Implementation.
