Job Description

Mainehealth is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinician to join our Partial Hospitalization Program team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals dealing with mental health and substance abuse disorders. As a Clinician, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatment and support to patients in a partial hospitalization setting. We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual who is committed to helping others and has a strong understanding of mental health and addiction treatment. If you possess a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling and have at least two years of clinical experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

  1. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' mental health and substance abuse needs.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and progress.
  3. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support to patients in a partial hospitalization setting.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Monitor and document patients' progress and treatment outcomes.
  6. Utilize a trauma-informed approach and cultural competency in working with diverse patient populations.
  7. Continuously educate and inform patients and their families about mental health and addiction treatment options and resources.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with patients.
  9. Seek ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices in mental health and addiction treatment.
  10. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other relevant activities to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  11. Advocate for patients' needs and rights within the healthcare system.
  12. Collaborate with community resources and referral sources to support patients' ongoing care and recovery.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including safety and risk management protocols.
  14. Act as a role model and mentor for other staff members, interns, and students.
  15. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment provided.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably In Partial Hospitalization Or Intensive Outpatient Programs.

  • Licensure As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Or Psychologist (Phd Or Psyd) In The State Of Maine.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices For Treating Mental Health And Substance Use Disorders.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Culturally Competent Care To A Diverse Patient Population.
