  1. Oversee and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.
  2. Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, ensuring a positive work environment and high morale.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching to promote professional growth.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current clinical nursing practices and lead the implementation of evidence-based practices.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  8. Foster a culture of patient-centered care and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  9. Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
  10. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff.
  11. Manage and resolve conflicts or issues within the team.
  12. Serve as a liaison between the nursing team and other departments within the organization.
  13. Act as a resource and advocate for patients and their families.
  14. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for the department.
  15. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and departmental activities.
  16. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of clinical nursing.
  17. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  18. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current License To Practice As A Registered Nurse (Rn) In The State Of Maine.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, As Well As Experience With Budgeting And Resource Management.
