  1. Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients: The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients and creating personalized treatment plans to help them improve their health through proper nutrition.
  2. Conduct nutrition assessments: The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for conducting thorough nutrition assessments to determine the patients' current dietary habits and any potential nutritional deficiencies.
  3. Develop personalized nutrition plans: Based on the nutrition assessments, the Clinical Dietitian will develop personalized nutrition plans for each patient, taking into account their medical history, dietary restrictions, and personal goals.
  4. Monitor patient progress: The Clinical Dietitian will regularly monitor and review each patient's progress to ensure that their nutrition plans are effective and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  5. Educate patients on nutrition and healthy eating habits: The Clinical Dietitian will play a crucial role in educating patients on the importance of proper nutrition and promoting healthy eating habits.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: As a member of the healthcare team, the Clinical Dietitian will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

  10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards: The Clinical Dietitian will adhere to ethical and legal standards related to patient care, including maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Registration As A Dietitian By The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • State Licensure As A Dietitian/Nutritionist In Maine.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Medical Nutrition Therapy.

  • Knowledge Of Current Evidence-Based Practices And Guidelines In Clinical Nutrition And Medical Nutrition Therapy.
