A Degree In Theology Or Religious Studies: This Qualification Shows That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Teachings Of Different Religions, And Can Effectively Provide Spiritual Guidance To Patients And Staff From Diverse Backgrounds.
Ordination Or Certification As A Chaplain: Many Healthcare Facilities, Including Mainehealth, Require Chaplains To Have Official Recognition From A Religious Organization Or Governing Body. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Undergone Proper Training And Has Met Specific Standards For Providing Spiritual Care.
