
Centering Pregnancy Coordinator

- Coordinate and facilitate the Centering Pregnancy program, including scheduling sessions, securing facilitators, and managing logistics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote and expand the program.
- Serve as a liaison between expectant mothers, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts to engage pregnant individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities in the program.
- Provide support and guidance to expectant mothers throughout their participation in the program, including addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Develop and implement program evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of the Centering Pregnancy program on maternal and infant health outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care and support for expectant mothers and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program participants, including attendance, health data, and program outcomes.
- Plan and facilitate educational sessions and group discussions on prenatal health, childbirth, and postpartum care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to providing holistic prenatal care.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Centering Pregnancy Coordinator At Mainehealth Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field To Have A Strong Understanding Of Maternal And Child Health.
Experience In Perinatal Care: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Perinatal Care To Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of Pregnancy, Childbirth, And Postpartum Care.
Knowledge Of Centering Pregnancy Model: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Centering Pregnancy Model And Its Principles, As Well As Experience Facilitating Group Sessions.
