Mainehealth is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Centering Pregnancy Coordinator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and empower expecting mothers through our innovative Centering Pregnancy program.   1. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Centering Pregnancy program at Mainehealth.
  2. Facilitate group prenatal care sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for expecting mothers.
  3. Provide education and resources to expecting mothers on various topics related to maternal and child health.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality prenatal care to participants.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program participants and their progress.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain program participants.
  7. Conduct outreach and promote the program to potential participants and community stakeholders.
  8. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the program and make necessary improvements and adjustments.
  9. Provide emotional support and guidance to program participants as needed.
  10. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in maternal and child health to inform program development and delivery.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to enhance the program's impact.
  12. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations in the delivery of services.
  13. Attend meetings and trainings as required by Mainehealth.
  14. Represent the organization and the Centering Pregnancy program at events and conferences.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with program participants and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field: A Centering Pregnancy Coordinator At Mainehealth Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field. This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Healthcare And Is Equipped With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Coordinate The Centering Pregnancy Program.

  • Certified Nurse-Midwife Or Nurse Practitioner: Mainehealth Requires A Centering Pregnancy Coordinator To Be A Certified Nurse-Midwife (Cnm) Or Nurse Practitioner (Np). This Qualification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Specialized Training And Experience In Providing Prenatal Care And Is Familiar With The Unique Needs Of Pregnant Women.

  • Experience In Maternal And Child Health: The Ideal Candidate For A Centering Pregnancy Coordinator At Mainehealth Should Have Prior Experience In Maternal And Child Health. This Could Include Working In A Labor And Delivery Unit, Providing Prenatal Care, Or Coordinating Programs For Pregnant Women.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Centering Pregnancy Coordinator, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Pregnant Women, Their Families, And Healthcare Providers. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Coordinate The Program And Build Strong Relationships With All Stakeholders.

  • Familiarity With Centering Pregnancy Model: Mainehealth Prefers Candidates Who Are Familiar With The Centering Pregnancy Model Of Care. This Includes A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Program's Goals, Structure, And Facilitation Techniques. Previous Experience Working With The Centering Model Would Be A Plus.
