  1. Develop and implement personalized cardiac rehabilitation plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
  2. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress during rehabilitation and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  3. Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and provide guidance on managing risk factors for heart disease.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as cardiologists and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all interactions and progress in a timely manner.
  6. Conduct regular assessments and screenings to identify potential risks or complications and address them proactively.
  7. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  8. Assist in coordinating and leading group exercise sessions and educational classes for patients and their families.
  9. Stay updated on the latest advancements, techniques, and research in the field of cardiac rehabilitation.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and superiors to ensure the smooth operation of the cardiac rehabilitation program.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new protocols and procedures.
  13. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to cardiac rehabilitation services.
  14. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Mainehealth and promote a positive and welcoming environment for all patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist (Ccrs) Through The American Association Of Cardiovascular And Pulmonary Rehabilitation (Aacvpr).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Rehabilitation Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Exercise Physiology, Cardiovascular Disease, And Risk Factor Management.

  • Ability To Develop Individualized Exercise Programs And Monitor Patients' Progress.
