
Cardiac Rehab Specialist

- Develop and implement personalized cardiac rehabilitation plans for patients, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' cardiac health and progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of cardiac health and the benefits of rehabilitation.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, exercise tolerance, and other relevant data during rehabilitation sessions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation of rehabilitation progress.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation journey.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies used in cardiac rehabilitation sessions.
- Stay updated on current research, advancements, and best practices in cardiac rehabilitation to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Cep) Through The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiac Rehabilitation Setting.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.
