  1. Assist the anesthesia team with patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  2. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
  3. Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and monitors.
  4. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels.
  5. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively with the anesthesia team and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  9. Participate in the inventory management of anesthesia supplies and equipment.
  10. Provide support to the anesthesia team in emergency situations.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and education.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Anesthesia Technology: Applicants For An Anesthesia Technician Job At Mainehealth Should Possess A Valid Certification In Anesthesia Technology From An Accredited Program.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Surgical Or Perioperative Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance, As Well As Knowledge Of Anesthesia Procedures And Protocols.
