  1. Manage schedules and appointments for the Dermatology department, ensuring all meetings and appointments are organized and timely.
  2. Coordinate and communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of operations.
  3. Maintain important documents and records, including patient information, medical histories, and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed for the Dermatology department.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of office and medical supplies, placing orders as needed.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks and projects.
  8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding HIPAA regulations.
  9. Act as a liaison between the Dermatology department and other departments within the organization, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the Dermatology department to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, utilizing new technology and techniques to improve administrative processes.
  12. Support the overall mission and values of Mainehealth, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Administrative Support Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficiency In Various Computer Programs, Including Microsoft Office And Electronic Medical Record Systems.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines.

  • Effective Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Interact With Patients, Providers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Dermatology Terminology And Procedures, As Well As Insurance And Billing Processes, Is Highly Desirable.
