  1. Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in an acute care setting.
  2. Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  3. Ensure all medication orders are properly processed, filled, and delivered to the appropriate patient.
  4. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and medication profiles.
  6. Monitor medication inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
  7. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
  8. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on new medications and pharmacy practices.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  12. Handle confidential patient information with discretion and maintain patient privacy.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  14. Identify and report any errors or discrepancies in medication orders to the appropriate personnel.
  15. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or supervising pharmacist.

Job Qualifications
  • Completed A Pharmacy Technician Training Program Or Possess A Current Pharmacy Technician Certification.

  • At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Or Acute Care Pharmacy Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Medication Ordering, Preparation, And Distribution Processes In An Acute Care Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Records And Medication Dispensing Systems, Such As Pyxis Or Omnicell.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Medication Order Processing, Inventory Management, And Medication Labeling.
