Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate decontamination, sterilization, and distribution processes to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Ensure that all items used in patient care are safe and effective by efficient decontamination and sterilization processes.
• Utilize excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively participate in patient care team meetings.
• Document all processes and procedures related to decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of instruments.
• Investigate and resolve sterilization and decontamination issues to maintain quality and safety.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on proper decontamination, sterilization, and distribution processes.
• Assist with the development of sterile processing and decontamination protocols and processes.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment used in decontamination, sterilization, and distribution processes.
• Manage and maintain records related to decontamination, sterilization, and distribution processes.
