- Provide high-quality rehabilitation care to patients in need, utilizing nursing skills and expertise.
- Utilize knowledge of nursing principles and evidence-based practices to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote successful rehabilitation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in their care.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in rehabilitation nursing and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication with colleagues.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution
Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Maine
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Rehabilitation Setting, Preferably With A Focus On Physical And Occupational Therapy
Strong Understanding Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations Pertaining To Rehabilitation Services
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Team Members To Develop And Implement Individualized Treatment Plans For Patients.
