  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with a variety of skin conditions.
  2. Assess and monitor patient's skin conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by the physician.
  4. Educate patients and their families on proper skin care and treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  6. Utilize electronic medical records to accurately document patient care and treatment plans.
  7. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  8. Continuously expand knowledge and skills in the field of dermatology through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  9. Provide support and guidance to medical assistants and other support staff in the dermatology department.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  12. Act as an advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide a positive and professional experience.
  15. Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely billing for services rendered.
  16. Maintain professional development and licensure requirements to stay current and compliant with nursing standards and regulations.
  17. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Maine.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Dermatology Or A Related Field.

  • Certification In Dermatology Nursing (E.g. Certified Dermatology Nurse, Dermatology Nurse Practitioner) Preferred.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills In Dermatology Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment.
