
Radiology Tech Aide
MaineGeneral Health is searching for a compassionate and highly skilled Radiology Tech Aide to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.The Radiology Tech Aide will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the radiology department, including patient transport and preparation, assisting with imaging procedures, and other clerical functions. We are looking for an individual who is able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• At least one year of radiology experience preferred• Ability to lift and transport patients• Ability to stand for long periods of time• Excellent customer service skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications• Ability to follow safety and clinical protocols• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiologyIf you have a passion for patient care and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the radiology department of MaineGeneral Health, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Transport patients to and from radiology procedures • Prepare patients for imaging procedures • Assist with imaging procedures as needed • Complete clerical tasks such as filing records, preparing patient charts and paperwork, and maintaining inventory of supplies • Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during imaging procedures • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
